In 1997, Jeff Koepke and his wife Sharon purchased the business, continuing the mission of delivering skilled, empathetic restoration services. Today, BK Restoration remains a family‑driven team committed to craftsmanship, honesty, and helping families recover from life’s unexpected events.

Jeff Koepke

Owner / Restoration Specialist

Jeff graduated from Southeast Community College in Milford in 1985 and began his career in custom cabinetry and remodeling. After experiencing a house fire in 1991, Jeff saw firsthand the emotional and logistical challenges homeowners face. That experience led him to join founder Jim Bartolome in insurance restoration.
Jeff and his wife Sharon purchased the business in 1997, continuing the company’s mission of delivering skilled, empathetic restoration services.

Mark Bartolome

Project Manager

Mark attended the University of Nebraska–Lincoln and began his career in commercial and residential painting. After years in property management, he joined BK Restoration in 1997 as a painting subcontractor.
He later trained in carpentry, framing, trimming, and roofing repairs before moving into project management in 2003.
Mark now works directly with insurance companies and homeowners to coordinate repairs and ensure every project is completed with precision and care.

Will Elliott

Project Manager (Omaha Area)

With more than 15 years of experience in fire and water restoration, Will brings extensive technical knowledge and hands‑on expertise to every job.
He holds multiple IICRC certifications in fire, water damage, and structural drying.
Will works closely with homeowners and insurance carriers to restore properties efficiently and safely. He currently resides in Omaha with his daughter, Grace

John Determan

Project Manager

John is a University of Nebraska graduate with a strong background in construction, customer service, and restoration.
His early experience working in lumber yards gave him foundational construction knowledge, which he later expanded through pharmaceutical sales and customer‑focused roles.
John is IICRC‑certified in water damage restoration and is known for his excellent communication and client support.
He lives in Pierce, NE, with his wife Chelsey and their two children, Bella and Jackson.
